Suarez completes move to Inter Miami, set to reunite with Messi

Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, formerly of Barcelona, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, and Ajax, will join Inter Miami for the 2024 season, as announced by the MLS club on Friday.

Suarez, turning 37 next month, brings his wealth of experience, having won titles with Barcelona, Ajax, and Atletico. Joining former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba at Miami, Suarez expressed excitement about the new challenge and shared ambitions.

The co-owner of Inter Miami, David Beckham, welcomed Suarez, emphasizing the player’s quality and passion. Suarez was named Best Player and Best Striker in the Brazilian league last season for Gremio, scoring 26 goals and setting up 17 others.
