Husband of ‘The Bachelorette’ star Rachel Lindsay initiates divorce proceedings

Rachel Lindsay, television personality and star of “The Bachelorette,” is facing the end of her four-year marriage to husband Bryan Abasolo. Abasolo filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences as the grounds for the petition. In the filing obtained by HYPEBLOG9JA MEDIA, Abasolo is seeking spousal support and requesting Lindsay to cover his attorneys’ fees.

The couple first crossed paths in 2017 when Rachel Lindsay was the featured star on the popular ABC reality show “The Bachelorette.” Their engagement took place during the show’s finale, leading to their wedding in 2019.

In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Bryan Abasolo announced the difficult decision to part ways after over four years of marriage. He emphasized the importance of sometimes letting go for the well-being of oneself and the partner. CNN has reached out to Rachel Lindsay’s representative for comment, but there has been no response as of now. The couple, who do not have children together, got married after their engagement on the reality show.

As of online records, Lindsay has not yet responded to Abasolo’s divorce petition. Despite facing a challenging year, as mentioned in her Instagram post over the New Year holiday weekend, Lindsay expressed gratitude for positive moments and aimed to carry that energy into 2024.

Rachel Lindsay gained prominence as the lead in Season 13 of “The Bachelorette” and is also known for her role as a television personality. She co-hosts the “Higher Learning” podcast alongside Van Lathan. On the other hand, Bryan Abasolo works as a chiropractor in Los Angeles, according to information from his social media profiles.
