Charly Boy criticizes the minister, stating that Nigeria has more pressing issues than Zack Orji’s hospital visit

Renowned Nigerian entertainer Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, commonly known as Charly Boy, has criticized Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, for her visit to the ailing actor Zack Orji. Charly Boy, in a post on X, labeled Musawa as an attention seeker, emphasizing that the actor’s health concerns are the least of Nigeria’s problems.

He went on to question the relevance of these visits in addressing issues like the price of petrol or the escalating cost of living in the country.

“Persistent attention seekers, enough of the noise. Nigeria is grappling with more substantial and urgent issues than Zack Orji. Let’s not misunderstand; he’s a respected Nigerian icon, and his contributions are evident.

“If you want to assist Zack, take him abroad since you’re strong supporters. The national hospital is akin to a mortuary.”
