Rema is determined to achieve a Grammy win

Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has expressed his determination to secure a Grammy win this year. Although not nominated for the 2024 Grammys, Rema made this declaration during his visit to the Lagos mansion of billionaire businessman Tony Elumelu. The ‘Calm Down’ artist engaged with the billionaire’s family, presenting them with an exclusive album copy and his merchandise, the “Air Rema,” as tokens of appreciation. Rema thanked Elumelu for his consistent support of the Nigerian music industry.

In a video clip posted on the billionaire’s Instastory, Rema expressed gratitude, stating, “Thank you for your support in the music industry; it means a lot to me. This year, I am aiming for the Grammy.”

It’s worth noting that Rema did not receive a nomination from the Recording Academy for the 2024 Grammys. The upcoming Grammy award ceremony is scheduled for 2025.
