Deborah Ohamara, a presenter at Nigeria Info FM, passes away in a car accident in Abuja

Tragedy struck on Monday when a sand-filled heavy-duty truck collided with a moving vehicle along Airport Road in Lugbe, Abuja, resulting in the untimely death of radio presenter Deborah Ohamara.

According to Nten Ekpang, a Facebook user who shared the accident details, “A car struck Deborah Ohamara from behind while she was driving, causing her to collide with a moving trailer. She succumbed to injuries sustained from the crash.”

Confirming the unfortunate incident, Nigeria Info 95.1 FM expressed their sorrow, stating, “With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Deborah Ohamara (Debbie), a brilliant and beloved broadcaster with Nigeria Info Abuja.”

Ohamara, an employee of Nigeria Info 95.1 FM Abuja, was traveling from the airport area when her vehicle was rear-ended, causing a collision with a moving truck. The incident occurred at around 3 pm on Monday, leading to a traffic jam on the expressway. Well-known as the golden voice of Naija Info, Ohamara hailed from Cross River State.
