Comedian AY petitions police against Agozi Samuel over alleged affair with May Edochie

Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, widely known as AY, has lodged a formal complaint with the police against Agozi Samuel for spreading false claims. Samuel alleged on his Facebook page that AY was involved in a romantic relationship with May Edochie, the first wife of actor Yul Edochie, and was intending to marry her after her divorce from Yul.

In response to these allegations, AY has taken legal action by submitting a petition to the Delta State Police Command.

In a petition dated January 24, AY, represented by his legal team, accused Agozi of criminal defamation and cyberstalking and called for his arrest and prosecution.

The petition stated, “The publication alleges that our client is engaged in an extramarital affair with May Edochie, the wife of Yul Edochie, and that our client is responsible for the marital issues between May and her husband.”

AY denounced the allegation as “unfounded and false.”

He further stated that the accusation has had a detrimental impact on his brand and has severely affected his personal life, career, integrity, and reputation among peers, business associates, and the public.

AY urged the police to swiftly investigate and apprehend Agozi Samuel, citing evidence of defamation and cyberbullying provided.
