Why I quit crossdressing – Skit maker, Brain Jotter

Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, popularly known as Brain Jotter, a well-known skit maker, recently shared that he initially began his career in skit-making portraying the character of a crossdresser named Madam Ogadi. However, he eventually decided to switch characters.

In an appearance on Channels TV’s program, “Rubbin’ Minds,” hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Brain Jotter explained his decision, stating, “I stopped crossdressing because I realized it’s not sustainable unless you excel at it.”

Reflecting on his past experiences, he recounted, “There was a period when I portrayed the character Madam Ogadi in a church setting, and the audience responded positively to my performances. It became somewhat of a niche for me. However, I came to the realization that crossdressing wasn’t a viable long-term option for me. It’s just not something I believe in because it’s not authentic. People might enjoy it initially, but ultimately, it’s not a sustainable career choice, especially for someone like me.”

He also mentioned the challenges of maintaining authenticity while crossdressing, stating, “You can’t convincingly wear women’s clothing while sporting facial hair.”

Brain Jotter also shared his ventures into the music and film industries, hinting at upcoming movie releases this year as he continues to expand his creative pursuits.
