BNXN asked to be taken off my song – CKay

In a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Nigerian singer CKay provided more insight into his collaboration situation with colleague BNXN, formerly known as Buju.

CKay revealed that his 2023 hit song, ‘Hallelujah,’ initially featured Seyi Vibez and BNXN, but the version with Blaqbonez was ultimately released.

He clarified that BNXN opted to be removed from the song, while Seyi Vibez’s management failed to clear his verse.

The ‘Love Nwantiti’ artist expressed uncertainty about why BNXN requested to be removed from the song.

“One thing I can confirm is that BNXN requested to be removed from the track [‘Hallelujah’]. Why he made that request is a question you’d have to ask him,” he stated.

CKay mentioned that he has no regrets about releasing the version with Blaqbonez, emphasizing that it became a hit.
