Wake up, Nigerians are heartbroken – Mbaka tackles Tinubu

On Sunday, outspoken Enugu priest Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu, highlighting the prevailing insecurity and hardship in Nigeria.

Mbaka remarked that Tinubu faced numerous challenges, such as the Naira redesign policy, on his path to becoming president but ultimately succeeded through providence. Despite this, Mbaka stated that the president has not demonstrated sufficient political will to address the nation’s issues.

During a homily at his Adoration Ministry in Emene, Enugu State, the charismatic priest highlighted corruption within the oil sector, attributing it to a specific group but expressing disappointment that President Tinubu had not taken action against them. In a direct message to the President, he urged him to take action, emphasizing that God was observing his actions.

Addressing the issue, he stated, “Mr. President, you have the capability to address this; resolving Nigeria’s issues is not insurmountable with strong leadership. I understand that my words may attract attention, but so be it.” He then questioned the state of affairs in the oil sector, including production levels and financial reserves. Additionally, he raised concerns about the challenges in repairing refineries and called for accountability among those involved in these issues.

He suggested that the President has the authority to dismantle the influential groups involved in these matters, stressing that doing so would not lead to catastrophic consequences. “Hunger, as I mentioned two years ago, has yet to reach its peak; I won’t sugarcoat the truth. Everyone should be actively engaged, initiating something meaningful. “In Nkerefi recently, six women who were farming were brutally murdered, their bodies mutilated. Who would dare venture to the farms there again? Fear permeates the area.

“Even politicians who feel secure in their comfort zones should realize that no one is immune to the escalating insecurity; it could reach their doorstep one day.” Refocusing on President Tinubu, Mbaka asserted, “I believe that if President Tinubu submits himself to God and exhibits strong determination, his wealth and influence could be utilized in extraordinary ways. He hasn’t risen to power as a destitute individual, unlike many politicians who resort to desperate measures, even contemplating suicide, after electoral failures due to exhausting their resources.

“Tinubu has the capacity to enact policies that will shock criminal elements and bring about security and joy for Nigerians, thereby initiating a significant transformation. “Consider the exorbitant interest rates of today’s banks—25, 26, or 27 percent—how can one repay such loans? What collateral can be offered?

“What hope do the youths have? They require encouragement, empowerment, and support. Nigeria has the potential to surpass China; we can revolutionize Nigeria. The youths are yearning for the healing of their broken hearts.” Recalling Mbaka’s controversial prophecies, including his notable ‘From Goodluck to Badluck’ message aimed at former President Goodluck Jonathan, and his endorsement of General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) as the awaited messiah, who later won the 2015 election against incumbent Jonathan. However, Mbaka’s relationship with the Buhari presidency soured, with accusations of him soliciting contracts. He also criticized the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, during the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi, labeling him as miserly.
