Opposition parties instigating mass protests to undermine Tinubu’s government – APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused opposition parties of inciting unsuspecting youths to protest following the recent demonstrations in Minna, the capital of Niger State, and Kano State over the country’s hardships.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka, it was asserted that the protests in Minna and Kano were orchestrated by opposition parties in a bid to paint the ruling party in a negative light. Morka emphasized that these protests were part of a calculated effort to undermine the government and create unrest. He described the simultaneous protests in both cities as evidence of a coordinated attempt to destabilize the country.

While acknowledging citizens’ right to engage in peaceful protest, Morka urged vigilance and cautioned against being manipulated by opposition forces seeking to sow discord through their inflammatory rhetoric.

He reassured the public that the Bola Tinubu-led administration is committed to implementing reforms aimed at achieving economic recovery and sustainable prosperity for all Nigerians. Morka urged citizens to support the government in these endeavors and resist attempts by opposition elements to disrupt the country for political gain.

He expressed confidence that the government’s policy reforms will ultimately lead to positive and lasting improvements in the country’s living conditions, urging Nigerians to reject efforts to destabilize the nation for political motives.
