Ojibe Chibueze, a 17-year-old apprentice kid, kills himself after he was suspected of robbing his boss of money.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed this to reporters on Wednesday.

Hundeyin stated that on Wednesday at around 7:50 a.m., a woman named Cynthia, purported to be the boy’s sister, reported the incident to the Elemoro Police Division.

He stated that the woman had informed that on Tuesday at approximately 8:00 p.m., her brother, Ojibe Chibueze, had returned from work.

The woman emphasized that her brother had taken some cash and left, and that his master had subsequently called to let her know that her brother had stolen N100,000 from his shop.

The woman went on to say that her brother did not come home until she got a call from her neighbor, who told her that she had found her brother’s body at the Abijo Bus Stop in Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.

She claimed that after racing to the site, she saw her brother’s motionless body next to a can of sniper, which she assumed he had drank to death, stealing money.

“Detectives arrived at the spot as soon as they received the information and discovered the deceased body with froth coming out of his lips and nostrils.
