Saudi Arabia: Cristiano Ronaldo faces fresh ban

Cristiano Ronaldo is facing a new ban in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo, playing as a striker for Al Nassr, received a red card during the match against Al-Hilal and now awaits additional suspension and punishment.

During their Saudi Super Cup semi-final loss, the 38-year-old received a straight red card for what appeared to be an elbow to Ali Ali-Bulaihi.

Ronaldo received a red card with four minutes remaining after he lost his cool. According to Goal, the former star player for Real Madrid and Manchester United may receive a two-match suspension as well as a 20,000 riyal fine.

Following a largely poor performance in the Saudi Super Cup, Ronaldostar posted a message on his Instagram story on Wednesday that said, “Love and attitude is the perfect gratitude.”
