National grid breaks

National grid breaks; Customers of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc, or EEDC, were notified on Monday of a complete system failure that resulted in a blackout in the Southeast.

According to a statement released by EEDC’s Head of Corporate Communications, Emeka Eze, the event happened on Monday at around two in the morning.

However, the business reassured the locals that they are taking measures to guarantee a speedy return to normalcy.

“This resulted in the loss of supply to all our interface TCN stations,” the statement says. As such, we were unable to serve our clients in the states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.

But things are starting to get better now that supplies have arrived at the Awada TCN station in Onitsha around 7:30 a.m; National grid breaks.

“We are waiting on the National Control Center, NCC, Oshogbo, to fully restore supply. We are in continuous communication with the appropriate authorities.”
