Chelsea thrashes Everton 6-0 as Cole Palmer breaks two records

Palmer breaks two records; Cole Palmer, a midfielder for Chelsea, set two records on Monday night after scoring four goals in their 6-0 victory over Everton.

The 21-year-old helped Mauricio Pochettino’s team explode out of the starting blocks with a first-half hat-trick.

Palmer also scored a flawless hat-trick, giving him back-to-back trebles at Stamford Bridge.

He opened the first one with a smooth transition, then quickly left like a poacher.

The third came via a brilliant lob with his less strong right foot following a ball from Jordan Pickford.

He now owns the record for most goals scored by a Chelsea player in the Premier League in just seven games at this stadium. It was also the fastest hat-trick ever by a Chelsea player.

In the second half, he scored his fourth from the penalty spot.
