Sporting Lagos fires Paul; Paul Offor, the head coach of Sporting Lagos in the Nigeria Premier Football League, has left the team.

In the wake of his team’s NPFL troubles, Offor was fired.

The departure of the tactician was verified on the team’s X handle.

“Sporting Lagos announces the departure of head Coach Paul Offor,” the announcement says.

“Coach Paul gave us the first piece of silverware in our history and brought elite football back to our city.”

“Coach Paul, thank you very much for everything. We want all the best for you in your upcoming endeavors.

Abdullahi Biffo, a former Kwara United coach, has been identified by Sporting Lagos as a potential successor.

With 38 points, they are in 11th place on the NPFL table.

This season, Sporting Lagos has tallied 10 victories, 8 ties, and 12 losses.
