Governor Mbah vows “Enough is Enough” as he visits Nimbo following the killing of four people

Governor Mbah declares “No more!” during his visit to Nimbo after the tragic killing of four people

Nimbo; The recent incident that claimed the lives of four Nimbo residents in the Uzo Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State has been deemed unacceptable by the state’s governor, Peter Mbah.

He assured that the government will collaborate with community and security stakeholders to enhance security not only in Nimbo but throughout the whole Uzo Uwani LGA, calling the incident a collective sorrow for the entire state.

“Let me assure you that enough is enough,” he stated. We wouldn’t, in my opinion, permit our hospitality to be taken for granted. We anticipate that visitors who come to socialize with us would likewise abide by the laws and regulations of our state.

“I want to reassure you that we will use every resource at our disposal—the law, the armed forces, and anything else required to ensure your safety.

“We have given careful consideration to the concerns you expressed regarding the integration of the Nimbo community into the government. We are going to act in that manner. We’ve heard you speak.

Additionally, I want to let you know that we won’t desert you at this difficult time. We’ll pay the price. Through our scholarships, we’ll make sure they attend school, and for those who require employment, we’ll find them one.

Since the community lacked a voice in politics, he advocated for their participation in government appointments.

“You can observe for yourself that Nimbo resides in the Enugu State’s periphery. They can enter at any time, kill, and leave the area where we reside right on the border.

Even before I was born, things were this way for a long time.

Thus, we just require one item. Our neighborhood has vigilantes. These attackers are quite familiar with all the paths through the bushes and communities. Our local vigilantes can match them, therefore we need to bolster them. Our farmlands are enormous in both breadth and length, according to Akachukwu.
