Eric Many Records confirms the abduction of artist Gnewzy in Delta State

Eric Many Records has verified that Emuemu Goodnews, also referred to as Gnewzy, one of its artists, has been kidnapped.

The music label disclosed Gnewzy’s abduction in Delta State after his nightclub performance, as stated by its coordinator, Adedayo Showemimo.

“Eric Many Records announces the terrible occurrence affecting our musician Gnewzy with deep worry and grave distress. Gnewzy was abducted in Ughelli, Delta State, early on Monday, April 29th. It stated that his manager, Obas9ice, almost avoided the same situation on Eklat Road in Ughelli.

The statement mentions Gnewzy’s manager escaped kidnapping and is aiding authorities with crucial information about the unfortunate incident.

The statement further stated that “Obas9ice has been cooperating fully with the Division A police station in Ughelli immediately following the incident, providing his account and statement of the events.”

“To guarantee Gnewzy’s safe return, Eric Many Records is working closely with law enforcement. We maintain communication with senior law enforcement officials in Delta State, such as DSP Bright Edafe, the State Police Public Relations Officer, and Idowu Owohunwa, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in Lagos.

Dilly Umenyiora, the CEO of the record label, has received correspondence from the kidnappers requesting a $200,000 ransom.
