Nigerian content creator and popular TikTok streamer, Jarvis, has voiced her frustration over her relationship with fellow streamer Peller, expressing that she's grown tired of the situation.

During a candid TikTok live session with fellow creator Sandra Benede, Jarvis opened up about the emotional toll the relationship has taken on her. She admitted to repeatedly compromising her personal values and boundaries just to accommodate Peller, often engaging in content she personally disapproves of — all in the name of love.

Despite her sacrifices, Jarvis said it’s her reputation that continues to take the hit, while Peller seems unaffected. She shared that many people perceive her as being in competition with Peller, suggesting that she's not allowed to do the same kind of content as him.

In her words:
“In the beginning, it was hard accepting his personality. Now I’ve tolerated so many things that don’t align with my brand — things I normally wouldn’t do — but I’ve done them for him online. Even before we post some things, I complain that I’m not okay with it. I suggest we do something else, but he begs me, and out of love, I agree. Then when the content is posted, it leads to backlash.”

“So who’s really losing value here? Me or him? It’s always the woman who’s judged. A man can go back to his village and marry someone from Ikorodu tomorrow, and it’s like nothing happened. But the woman is the one left with shame. People even say I’m competing with him, like I’m not supposed to do what he does.”

Jarvis’s emotional statement has sparked conversations online about gender expectations, double standards, and the cost of compromising one's values in relationships — especially in the spotlight of social media.
