Canadian pop icon Justin Bieber has broken several records on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts, according to HYPEBLOG9JATV.
The singer, who recently became a father, released his seventh studio album, Swag, as a tribute to fatherhood. The album cover features Bieber alongside his wife Hailey and their son, Jack Blues.
Swag made a massive impact on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with 16 songs charting, led by the track Daisies, which debuted at number 2.
With this achievement, Bieber surpassed Chris Brown for the most Hot 100 entries by a male artist, now totaling 121. Daisies also became his 27th top 10 hit, tying him with Janet Jackson for the 10th most top 10 hits in Hot 100 history.
In another historic feat, Bieber is now the first artist to debut at number 2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 (Daisies) and the Billboard 200 (Swag) in the same week.
Meanwhile, Teddy Swims’ hit Lose Control has made its own history by becoming the first song ever to spend 100 weeks on the Hot 100 chart. It originally peaked at number 1 and remains in the top 10.
