Every year, there is at least one show that comes out of nowhere as a massive crowd-pleaser, and for 2025, that show was Paradise. Starring Sterling K. Brown opposite James Marsden and Julianne Nicholson, the series follows a Secret Service agent who spends most of the first season investigating the death of the President. The real hook of the series, however, is revealed at the end of Episode 1, when fans realize the show is not set in Washington, DC, but an underground bunker. The Paradise bunker is the only safe haven in what we're led to believe is an apocalyptic wasteland of an outside world.

Week after week, Paradise picked up more viewers, and there was enough of a demand that the show was renewed for Season 2 before the conclusion of Season 1. Fast-forward a year, and Paradise Season 2 is already off and running with its first three episodes, and the acclaim is already spreading around the internet like wildfire. As part of Collider’s Exclusive Spring Preview event, we’re happy to partner with Hulu to debut a fresh sneak peek from a future Paradise Season 2 episode, which can be found below.

Paradise was written and created for TV by Dan Fogelman, who previously worked with Sterling K. Brown on the hit series, This Is Us. After the majority of Paradise Season 1 took place inside the bunker, aside from flashbacks of President Cal Bradford (Marsden), Season 2 will see Xavier Collins (Brown) venture outside the bunker to search for his wife. Shailene Woodley and Thomas Doherty have also joined the cast of Paradise Season 2 as people living outside the bunker.

Has ‘Paradise’ Been Renewed For Season 3?

Hulu has not officially picked up Paradise for a third season, but there are strong signs that the show will have a chance to continue beyond Season 2. Creator Dan Fogelman has been transparent about his three-season plan for the show, even admitting that Disney has asked if he could stretch it with another season or two. So long as the show comes out of the gate with strong viewership and the reception stays anywhere near as high as Season 1, it’s all but guaranteed that a third season is on the horizon. It’s also highly possible that it could be released as soon as next year.

Check out the first three episodes of Paradise Season 2 on Hulu and stay tuned for more updates on your favorite shows and movies during Collider’s Exclusive Preview event.
