The Day of the Jackal is a contemporary reimagining of Frederick Forsyth’s 1971 political thriller. The series follows an enigmatic British assassin, known only as "The Jackal" (Eddie Redmayne), who is hired to eliminate a high-profile target. As he meticulously plans his mission across Europe, he becomes the focus of MI6 agent Bianca Pullman (Lashana Lynch), leading to a tense cat-and-mouse chase. The series delves into themes of identity, morality, and the personal costs of a life led in the shadows.
