Simon Ward is a working-class man whose life is thrown into chaos following a traumatic home invasion. As problems at his workplace pile up and the death of his best friend leaves him devastated, Simon struggles to cope with everything happening around him.

His situation becomes even more complicated when he falls under the influence of Dalton Kirby, a provocative radio host whose rhetoric begins shaping Simon's view of the world.
