It’s been a busy start to the year so far for Taylor Sheridan, so just kicked off the debut season of his third Yellowstone offshoot, Marshals, starring Luke Grimes as Kaycee Dutton. This weekend, he’ll kick off yet another Yellowstone spin-off, The Madison, which stars Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer. Sheridan stayed as busy as usual in 2025, particularly at the end of the year, when he had three shows premiere new seasons back-to-back-to-back. He kicked things off in September with Tulsa King, the hit crime saga starring Sylvester Stallone and Frank Grillo, and he kept up the momentum with the penultimate season of Mayor of Kingstown, another crime thriller starring his former Wind River star, Jeremy Renner. He closed out the year with his biggest property, Landman, which is poised to take the crown from Yellowstone as his next big property.

Tulsa King has quietly become one of Sheridan’s most popular shows in the last few years, and it’s also the one from last year that is holding up the best on streaming charts. Paramount was so confident in Tulsa King that it renewed the Michigan-set crime series for a fourth season in the days leading up to Season 4, and this continues to prove to be a worthy investment. Production on Season 4 is set to begin any day now, and news broke this afternoon that Flula Borg has joined the cast of the next season of Tulsa King as a tech billionaire, Bradley Van Heusen. Borg is best known for his role in the long-running ABC procedural, The Rookie, and also for starring opposite Dave Bautista in the Prime Video action movie, My Spy: The Eternal City.

‘Tulsa King’ Is Getting Its Own Spin-Off

Samuel L. Jackson joined the cast of Tulsa King Season 3, and after featuring in only two episodes of Russell Lee Washington Jr., Paramount greenlit a spin-off focused on his character. The series was first titled NOLA King, and it was set to take place in New Orleans, but news broke a few weeks ago that it was undergoing a creative overhaul and changing its title to Frisco King. Sheridan was originally going to step back and produce, possibly writing a few episodes, but he will now write every episode of the Tulsa King spin-off.

Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Tulsa King Season 4 and catch up on the first three seasons on Paramount+.
