Set against the backdrop of the 2016 “killer clown” panic, psychiatrist Dr Ellen Marks is treating one of the most notorious child-serial killers, Carl Cane. When Cain’s cult of murderous clowns begins wreaking havoc outside the secure psychiatric hospital, Marks teams up with investigative journalist John Parker. Together they race to uncover the conspiracy and stop the clown uprising — even as Cane seemingly orchestrates the violence from behind bars.
