In a world where mysterious portals known as "Gates" connect Earth to realms filled with monsters, humans known as "Hunters" possess abilities to combat these threats. Sung Jinwoo, a 20-year-old E-Rank Hunter, is deemed the weakest among them. To support his ailing mother, he undertakes dangerous missions. During a perilous double dungeon raid, Jinwoo is left for dead after a deadly trap. However, he awakens to find a mysterious system interface granting him the ability to "level up," a power no other Hunter possesses. As he embarks on quests to grow stronger, Jinwoo uncovers dark secrets about the Gates and the true nature of his newfound abilities.
