United States President Donald Trump has described rapper Nicki Minaj as "so hot" while introducing her during a luncheon at the White House Rose Garden on Monday.

In a video from the event that has since gone viral, Trump praised the rapper's talent and public support, referring to her as a respected figure before adding a personal compliment.

"We also have a woman that is respected and so hot. She is such a great friend, a fantastic person, a woman that is respected by everybody, and she's got real talent. We have Nicki Minaj," Trump said.

Nicki Minaj later shared photos from the event on her X (formerly Twitter) account, appearing to embrace the president's remarks. She captioned the post:

"Whoa! #WhiteHouseBarbie with her favorite President of all time!"

The appearance comes months after the rapper attended the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, where she described herself as "probably the president's number one fan," adding that she was unconcerned by criticism or public reactions to her support for the president.
