Nigerian singer Brymo has claimed that fellow music star 2Baba once asked his then-wife, Annie Macaulay, whether she had ever been intimate with him.
The singer made the revelation during a recent interview on the NotJustOk Podcast, where he also admitted to having had relationships with some married women in the past. He used the opportunity to caution younger artistes against getting involved with married women, warning that such relationships could have serious consequences.
Recalling an incident from 2019, Brymo alleged that while they were at Naomi's office in Lekki Phase 1, 2Baba looked at Annie and asked, "Annie, you don f**k Brymo?" According to Brymo, the moment has remained unforgettable.
He further claimed that he had met several older women who told him they were separated from their husbands, adding that his experiences prompted his advice to younger musicians to avoid romantic relationships with married women.
As of the time of this report, neither 2Baba nor Annie Macaulay has publicly responded to Brymo's allegations.
This is not the first time Brymo has made headlines over controversial remarks. In a 2023 interview, he disclosed that he had once proposed intimate relationships to some female colleagues, including Simi and Ghanaian singer Efya, in exchange for musical collaborations.
